In order to provide you with as accurate an estimate as possible we ask that you take a quick measurement of the areas that you would like to have carpeted. We will be happy to have an installer measure these areas for you prior to installation in order to reduce waste and ensure sufficient materials.

Important Facts to keep in mind:

• 1 square yard = 9 square feet (3 feet by 3 feet square)
• Carpet 12 feet wide: Multiply lineal feet by 1.333 to get square yards (Every 9 inches = 1 square yard)

Carpet is manufactured in variety of widths, such as 12 ft, 13’6”, and 15 ft, but most carpet is manufactured in 12-foot widths only. Simply measuring the dimensions of a room may not be an accurate carpet measurement of the amount required.
